Founded in 2021 by designer Li Yining, a graduate of Bunka Fashion College Tokyo, STRANGEFRUIT draws inspiration from psychedelic music, hippie culture, and offbeat everyday moments. The brand fuses natural forms with bold, modern fashion to create statement pieces full of personality.
The name “STRANGEFRUIT” comes from the Beijing slang “果儿” (girl), reflecting its fun-loving, streetwise roots. Starting with handmade necklaces inspired by dreadlocks and featuring 3D-printed natural motifs, the brand has evolved into a vibrant label known for expressive, unconventional accessories and garments. Since 2023, STRANGEFRUIT has expanded into ready-to-produce lines, gaining momentum in both China and Japan.
